Pointe Class Requirements:    

Pointe Work requires great strength in the legs, ankles, and feet along with dedication and discipline to ballet technique classes.  In order to be able to take this class and progress en pointe:  

1.  Student must be placed on pointe by instructor.

2.  Student must take Intermediate Ballet on Tuesday and Friday.

Company Rehearsal: 

Dancing with a company requires a desire for additional performance opportunities, a high level of   commitment,  and a strong technical framework.  In order to be able to join this company:

1. Student must audition or be invited by the instructor.

2. Student must take Jazz Company Class and 2 Intermediate Ballet classes or

1 Intermediate Ballet class and Modern Dance.

Tap Company Rehearsal: 

Dancing with a company requires a desire for additional performance opportunities, a high level of commitment,  and a strong technical framework.  In order to be able to join this company:

1. Student must audition or be invited by the instructor.

2. Student must take one Tap technique class (II, III, IV) and at least one other technique class (Ballet, Modern, Jazz, or Hip Hop).

Petite Company Rehearsal: 

Dancing with a company requires a desire for additional performance opportunities, a high level of commitment,  and a strong technical framework.  In order to be able to join this company:

1. Student must be at least 6 years old.

2. Student must audition or be invited by the instructor.

3. Student must take Beginner Ballet and at least one other technique class (Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern).

Hip Hop Company Rehearsal: 

Dancing with a company requires a desire for additional performance opportunities, a high level of commitment,  and a strong technical framework.  In order to be able to join this company:

1. Student must audition or be invited by the instructor.

2. Student must have taken at least 3 years of hip hop prior to this season.

3. Student must take Hip Hop Company Class and Social Dance Class.
